Religious beliefs are generally based on religious myths，Mythology is the collective desire of personification. Gods can not only be reconciled through the loneliness of individual isolation, but also through the spiritual medium of millions of people.
Different types of religious beliefs normally can be summarized into two kinds of belief: belief in God and gods, and belief in the self. The so-called belief in the self is to believe in an eternal or transcendent self. For example, there is a saying in Chinese Buddhism that when Sakyamuni came to the world, he took a few steps forward, backward, left and right, pointed to the sky with one hand and the earth with the other, and said that I am the only one in the sky and on the earth. This is the belief in the self. For the mainstream Mahayana Buddhism in Chinese Buddhism, the body and all things are empty, but the true nature and Buddha nature are real, so it is generally called the true and constant idealism system. Taoism has a priori phenomenological human body, which is the unity of body and mind, and the true and constant is indestructible, which is the real immortal. Although the Confucian body is ordinary, it has a heart that can transcend the ordinary and become a saint, which is the heart of Tao. The goal of the Confucian self is to be a saint inside and a king outside.
The Kung Fu theory of the belief in God and self mainly relies on self-effort, which is suitable for people with roots and talents to believe and practice. The path of self-transcendence of the monotheistic belief in God mainly relies on the power of others, and is achieved through the protection and support of God through faith, which is suitable for the general public to believe and practice. There are three methods of religious belief in Santai culture: the first is the method of belief in God, called Taiyi Dao; the second is the method of God and self of the unity of body and mind, called Taixuan Dao; the third is the method of the inner saint God and self of the moral entity, called Taicheng Dao. Santai culture will open the road to the revival of Chinese culture based on these three beliefs.
